The Story Behind Live IT Toledo
When Fr. Michael Scanlan became president of a struggling Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, he encountered a generation of students who were lonely, disconnected, and searching for meaning.
One of the great insights of the remarkable revival that followed was profoundly simple: break down the bigness. Through small faith-sharing households, students committed themselves to prayer, authentic friendship, and walking the journey of faith together. Lives changed. A university was renewed. That revival continues to reverberate throughout the world.
Our world has never been more connected, and yet so many people feel isolated, unseen, and alone.
That led us to ask a simple question: what if every community rediscovered this ancient rhythm? What if, beginning in Toledo, ordinary Catholics gathered regularly in homes to pray, encourage one another, and simply journey through life together?
The revival continues. Welcome to Live IT Toledo. You Belong.
